Simone Vecchio is an engineer. He graduated at the University of Pisa, with a thesis about the quality management in construction sites.<\/p>\n

His main interest is represented by the application of the most innovative technological tools to the field of architecture, engineering, construction (“capture reality” survey, virtual reality<\/strong>) and in those of measurement and diagnostics<\/strong> of cultural heritage and industrial sites.<\/p>\n

Another interest is represented by the topic of safety at work<\/strong>: in this field, he can cover all the roles in Italy; he is currently collaborating with the Lucca CPT as a tester for the development of the “Cantiere Digitale\u201d App.
Since 2016 he has participated in several conservative restoration projects, diagnostic campaigns and metric surveys promoted by Restauroitalia<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, a company founded by his father.<\/p>\n

She graduated at the Polytechnic School of Bari, with a thesis on the history of ancient architecture and musealization. \u00a0Afterwards, she graduated at School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage, Rome University “La Sapienza”, with a thesis on the conservative restoration of the modern architecture.<\/p>\n

Since 2015 she has participated in various conservative restoration projects, both with private studios and directly with public Administrations of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage<\/strong>. Since 2017 she collaborates with the Technical Direction<\/strong> of Restauroitalia<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, a company operating in the field of the artistic and architectural restoration.<\/p>\n

Her interest in the study of monuments has brought her to deepen the most recent survey techniques, such as the 3D laser scanning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Maria Scalici is a restorer. She graduated in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage<\/strong> at the University of Palermo. She began her career in the world of restoration as Technical Director of the OS2-A area of \u200b\u200bRestauroitalia<\/a><\/strong><\/span> .<\/p>\n

She participated in the restoration of the 400 ‘collection of the Regional gallery of Palazzo Abatellis. At the end of this campaign, she graduated with a thesis on the design and execution of the restoration of a work from the Gagini collection and an in-depth study on the seismic risk<\/strong> of the support-artifact system. The addressed theme was the historicization of the exhibition<\/strong> inside a museum in relation to the anti-seismic efficiency.<\/p>\n

She participated in the training of a class of Cambodian architects as restorers at the Apsara headquarters in Siem Reap (Cambodia), within a 6-month collaboration project between Unipa and Unesco.<\/p>\n

Over the years as Technical Director, Maria has developed her skills in personnel management and optimization of on-site work processes<\/strong>. She has followed several courses on diagnostics for cultural heritage and on the use of diagnostic equipment. Since 2019, thanks to the success of the restoration works certificated by Cultural Authorities, she has played also the role of Technical Director of the OG2 area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
